Project Summary: Funding to establish a Native Seed Orchard at Kayanase with the goal of supporting ecological restoration and forestry projects. Hiring of 3 staff, necessary greenhouse repairs and to deliver a presentation for and provide 2000 native seed packs to students of Six Nations elementary schools.

Project Summary: Funding to host conference. The conference will share information about the history of traditional & contemporary Haudenosaunee style beadwork. The aim is to build relationships with other beaders and interested Six Nations community members. The goal is also to keep traditional Haudenosaunee style beadwork continuing for future generations.

Project: Two Row on the Grand 2024
Project Summary: Funding for the 10 day paddle event which starts in Cambridge and ends in Port Maitland. Participants paddle in two rows where possible – one indigenous and one allies row to demonstrate the simple concept of the Two Row Wampum treaty. Camping, sharing meals and listening to Haudenosaunee cultural teachings along the journey are key elements of this event.

Fathers will share their stories to give a more broad and in-depth view of the struggles in overlooked areas that fathers of the next generation’s research has shown.
